MedTech Innovator today announced the 20 medical technology startups selected to participate in its accelerator program and $500K global 2017 competition

Announcing the 50 early-stage companies selected to participate in the MedTech Innovator Showcase, an exhibition of the cutting-edge innovations to be presented at The MedTech Conference Sept. 25 to 27 in San Jose, Calif.

MedTech Innovator traveled to Washington, D.C., on March 31 to hold its fifth pitch event of the 2017 competition. This event was unique because it specifically highlighted pediatric devices and products. We were hosted by AdvaMed Accel and joined by members of the association’s Pediatric Working Group, who hail from companies such as Medtronic, Abbott, and Johnson & Johnson.

We are proud to introduce you to two key executives recently hired to help grow our organization and fulfill our mission to help patients and transform healthcare: Ashley McMaster joined the organization as vice president of business development and communications on Jan. 3, and Jenell Paul-Robinson has joined as vice president of clinical value and provider relations as of Feb. 6.

From March 4 to 7, leading executives from across the globe will gather in Los Angeles for a series of three events highlighting the leading edge of medical technology innovation in Los Angeles.

On September 26th, MedTech Innovator co-hosts its final competition at the AdvaMed Conference in San Jose, California. The event features a pitches from our four selected finalists on the AdvaMed main stage as well as networking, MedTech Innovator Showcases, and other catered opportunities.

On June 2nd, MedTech Innovator co-hosts its final San Francisco Pitch Event at the Palace in collaboration with WSGR Medical Device Conference. The event features pitches from pre-selected companies as well as networking and a panel highlighting MedTech Innovator success stories.

MedTech Innovator has partnered with the UCLA Technology Development Group to co-host a 2-day event on connected medical devices. Day 1 features the Los Angeles Pitch Event where emerging medtech companies will compete for a place in the MedTech Innovator Showcase and Accelerator.

On April 26th through the 27th, MedTech Innovator hosts its Atlanta Pitch Event in collaboration with the SEMDA conference at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel. The event features pitches from pre-selected companies as well as networking and a panel highlighting MedTech Innovator success stories.

On April 25th, MedTech Innovator hosts its Dublin Pitch Event at The Shelbourne Hotel in collaboration with the MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit 2017. The event features pitches from pre-selected companies as well as networking and a panel highlighting MedTech Innovator success stories.

On April 19th, MedTech Innovator hosts its Denver Pitch Event at the Knoebel Institue for Healthy Aging. The event features pitches from pre-selected companies as well as networking and a panel highlighting MedTech Innovator success stories.

On April 14, MedTech Innovator hosts its Boston Pitch Event at MassChallenge. The event features pitches from pre-selected companies as well as networking with Investors and business development executives.

On April 13th, MedTech Innovator hosts its Chicago Pitch Event at MATTER. The event features pitches from pre-selected companies as well as networking and a panel highlighting MedTech Innovator success stories.

We are excited to announce a new event on March 1 in San Francisco - Start-Up Sessions at the Digital MedTech Conference. Early to mid-stage digital health innovators - apply to pitch by Feb 10.
