About the MedTech Innovator 2018 Global Showcase

The MedTech Innovator Showcase is the medical technology industry’s global showcase of some of this year’s most innovative medical device, digital health and diagnostic companies. 30 mid/growth-stage companies will be selected to participate in the MedTech Innovator Showcase based on feedback and interest expressed by MedTech Innovator’s corporate partners – Johnson & Johnson, Baxter, Becton Dickinson & Co., W. L. Gore, Amgen, Olympus, BTG, Nipro, HOYA, Ximedica, and EdgeOne Medical. The Showcase is ideal for companies raising a series B round or later and/or pursuing an M&A exit path by prominently featuring them at the two largest gatherings of industry leaders on the West and East coasts of North America in 2018 – the WSGR Medical Device Conference in San Francisco and The MedTech Conference, powered by AdvaMed.

MedTech Innovator Showcase at Wilson Sonsini Medical Device Conference

At the 26th Annual Wilson Sonsini Medical Device Conference, Showcase companies will participate in the MedTech Innovator Showcase, an on-stage pitch event during the conference. Additionally, MedTech Innovator Showcase companies will participate in The Partnering Hall, with one-on-one meetings during the conference. MedTech Innovator Showcase at The MedTech Conference

At The MedTech Conference, powered by AdvaMed, Showcase companies will participate in the MedTech Innovator Showcase, an on-stage interactive program on the main exhibit floor. The showcase highlights the most innovative companies in sector-based sessions, moderated by leading corporate executives and investors. Additionally, MedTech Innovator Showcase companies will receive a dedicated space for one-on-one meetings over the three-day conference, as well as enhanced profiles in both the conference partnering system and published booklet distributed at The MedTech Conference in 2018. They are also eligible to compete for the $10K competition for Best Video.

Eligibility & Requirements

Nominated mid-stage medical device, diagnostic, or digital health companies are eligible to apply. Companies that are accepted to the Showcase must commit a co-founder or senior member of their leadership team to attend the three-day MedTech Innovator Summit in San Francisco on June 20-22, 2018, and The MedTech Conference in Philadelphia on September 24-26, 2018. Showcase companies are required to attend only The MedTech Conference.

MedTech Innovator is a nonprofit and does not require equity or any fees from participating companies.
