The Innovator Road Tour is a series of pitch events held in the US, internationally, and virtually. MedTech Innovator, MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific and BioTools Innovator hold events featuring outstanding medical device, diagnostic, digital health, life science research tools, and molecular based diagnostics companies selected from this year’s pool of over 2,000 applications. Invited startups have the opportunity to meet and receive feedback from investors, strategics and other members of the ecosystem. In addition to competing for a spot in the 2024 MedTech Innovator cohort, a subset of the pitch companies will also be in consideration for our Heart and Brain Track in partnership with the American Heart Association Center for Health Technology & Innovation and the Military Medicine Track in partnership with the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC).
International Pitch Event: Dublin, Ireland

The International Pitch Competition is held in collaboration with the MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit and regional partners, Trinity College and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RSCI). The MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit is Europe’s largest medtech partnering and investment conference. MedTech Innovator All-Stars Investor Showcase: Boston, MA
May 1 & 2, 2024
The investor showcase at Device Talks Boston will feature outstanding MedTech Innovator Alumni. The MTI portfolio raised $2B in funding in 2023; the overall device sector raised $7B in total, according to the HSBC annual 2023 report.

Innovator 2024 Summit: Mountain View, CA
June & 12 & 13, 2024
The invite-only Innovator 2024 Summit will be held in Mountain View, California. The annual Summit is a lively and engaging event that exclusively allows the leadership teams from our latest cohort of startups to get to know each other and exchange ideas with MedTech Innovator’s partners, alumni, and other industry leaders. MedTech Innovator, BioTools Innovator and MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific cohorts all come together in-person for this event.
All companies selected for MedTech Innovator’s 2024 cohort will present in an investor showcase at the Wilson Sonsini’s 31st Medical Device Digital Health Conference on June 14, 2024.
MedTech Innovator Showcase and Early-Stage Finals: Toronto, Canada
October 15 - 17, 2024
The MedTech Innovator Finals and Showcase will take place on October 15 – 17 at The MedTech Conference powered by AdvaMed. The Early-Stage Grand Prize winner, as determined by audience vote, takes home a $350K prize, and finalists receive $25K each. In addition, the Execution Award winner receives $25K and the Best Video Competition winner $10K.
Attendees are also invited to the All-Stars Showcase featuring topical and engaging discussions with MedTech Innovator Alumni and Cohort companies.
MedTech Innovator Mid-Stage Finals: San Francisco, CA
November 13 - 15, 2024
The MedTech Innovator Mid-Stage Finals will take place on November 13-15 at The MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit in San Francisco. The finals mark the exciting conclusion of the 2024 accelerator program. Based on audience vote, the Mid-Stage Grand Prize winner takes home a $200K prize, while the Value Award winner receives $25K.

The event will showcase the BTI ’24 cohort of best-in-class life science tools companies and a pitch competition featuring the BioTools Innovator 2024 Finalists. In addition to startup presentations, the event includes panel discussions with industry experts, and a Final Competition where one winner will take home the $250K Grand Prize, selected by a live audience vote.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with BioTools Innovator partners, including investors, and senior executives from Life Science tools companies and others.This event is free to attend in-person by invitation only (seats are limited on a first come first served basis).
The BioTools Innovator Capstone Event is supported by Thermo Fisher Scientific.
