It’s another record-breaking year for us. We’ve received over 750 applications from device, diagnostic, and digital health companies located around the world. Now the fun begins: reviewing applications and advancing 150+ innovators to pitch in-person.

MedTech Innovator 2019 Road Tour Schedule

Our Road Tour is a series of invite-only pitch events held throughout the US and internationally. Up to 30 startups selected from our applicant pool by our reviewers will pitch up to 60 judges, including our corporate partners, investors, and providers.

HealthTech Arkansas Accepting Applications
HealthTech Arkansas, a virtual accelerator partnering with Arkansas Heart Hospital, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Washington Regional Medical Center, Arkansas Urology, Mercy, and CHI St. Vincent, is now accepting applications. Companies admitted to the program are guaranteed at least two pilot projects. Last year, out of six companies accepted, two were MTI alums! Apply here. Deadline Apr. 30.

BARDA DRIVe Ventures RFI
BARDA DRIVe seeks feedback on a potential new novel public-private partnership that leverages venture capital practices and methods to disrupt the way BARDA invests in health security innovation. Members of the VC community, including VC firms, corporate venture capital, impact funds, and nonprofit strategic investors with experience identifying promising innovative products and technologies – if your team has experience leveraging venture capital practices and methods, respond to the RFI here. Deadline Mar. 4 at 5:00 PM ET.

Fogarty Institute’s MedTech Incubator Accepting Applications
The Fogarty Institute for Innovation is a pioneering MedTech educational incubator located in Mountain View, Calif. The incubator provides selected companies with extensive mentoring and education in addition to office and laboratory space. Most companies also receive a cash investment. Kidney Innovation Accelerator (KidneyX)
The Kidney Innovation Accelerator (KidneyX) is a partnership between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN). HHS and ASN plan to hold a series of KidneyX prize competitions to develop innovative solutions that can prevent, diagnose, and/or treat kidney diseases. The initial KidneyX prize competition is “KidneyX: Redesign Dialysis” is now accepting applications. Apply here. Deadline Feb. 28.
