MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific Announces Finalists for Sixth Annual Asia Pacific Competition
Four companies to compete in the Grand Finals hosted by MedTech Innovator in partnership with APACMed
LOS ANGELES and SINGAPORE – September 2, 2024 – MedTech Innovator, the world’s largest accelerator of medical technology companies, today announced the finalists from its 20-company 2024 Asia Pacific Accelerator Cohort. The four finalists include:
- APrevent (Taiwan): innovative solutions for voice and speech disorders.
- INOPASE (Japan): smart implant device to restore bladder control.
- KA Imaging (Canada):innovative X-ray imaging technologies and systems for the medical, veterinary, and non-destructive testing industrial markets.
- Qritive (Singapore): AI-powered platform enabling accurate and affordable diagnostics for better patient outcomes at scale.
Each finalist will receive USD 10,000 and the chance to compete for the USD 175,000 non-dilutive Grand Prize. The competitions will occur at the APACMed MedTech Forum, 5-6 September, in Singapore. During the competition finals, which will be held on the plenary stage on September 5, at 1640 hrs SGT, each of the four companies will pitch their technology and answer questions from a panel of renowned industry judges. After the presentations, the audience will vote in real-time to select the winner.
Other awards being presented to the 2024 cohort include the Best Video competition, with a prize of USD 5,000; the Johnson & Johnson JLABS Asia Pacific Award; the Cambridge Consultants Product Development Award, including USD 25,000 of in-kind services; and the inaugural Enterprise Singapore Startup SG Grant Award, worth SGD 20,000.

Over 400 companies applied for the Asia Pacific program this year, and after a rigorous selection process, 60 companies were invited to pitch, with 20 being selected for the four-month accelerator program. Featuring medical device, diagnostic, and digital health companies from around the globe, the 2024 finalists received unparalleled visibility and access to leading medtech manufacturers, providers, investors, and other industry stakeholders.
