Starling Surgical, based in Dublin, is developing a wound closure device designed to meticulously perform surgical sutures with the speed and convenience of a skin stapler. The company’s product is designed to change the way surgical wounds are closed. “We are pleased to recognize Starling Surgical with the 2019 Execution Award,” said Paul Grand, CEO of MedTech Innovator. “The Starling Surgical team and all six MedTech Innovator Accelerator companies that competed for this award demonstrated incredible leadership and strategy over the course of the program.
