This year brought in a record number of applications with over 600 submissions from all across Asia Pacific. Twenty-four companies were selected to participate in the MedTech Innovator APAC Accelerator. Over three months, our companies competed for a coveted spot in the Finals Competition, which took place during The APACMed MedTech Forum on Tuesday, 5 December 2023 at 10AM SGT followed by the winner announcement the same day at 5:00PM SGT.
Our four finalists competed for a first prize of US $175,000:
- Healium Medical – Automated Dual-Mode Ultrasound Ablation Platform for Effective Atrial Fibrillation Treatment.
- Medipixel – MPXA is the AI-based coronary angio-image analysis system during PCI.
- Module Innovations – Ultra rapid detection of antibiotic susceptibility of bacterial infections in hours and not days.
- Vivo Surgical – Pioneering a flexible endoscope robot for advanced endoscopic surgeries deep within the gastrointestinal tract.
