This year brought in a record number of applications with over 500 submissions from all across Asia Pacific as well as the US, Canada, and Europe. Twenty companies were selected to participate in the MedTech Innovator APAC Accelerator. Over three months, our companies competed for a coveted spot in the Finals Competition, which took place during The APACMed MedTech Forum on Wednesday, October 20 at 9AM SGT followed by the winner announcement the same day at 1:30PM SGT.
Our four finalists competed for a first prize of US $175,000:
- Alimetry – A wearable medical device that non-invasively diagnoses chronic gastric symptoms.
- NousQ – Robotic hand-held one-pass applicator for grommet tube surgery for glue ears.
- SharpArrow – Surgical laser to cut and ablate tissue without bleeding or tissue burn.
- Waycen – Real-time endoscopy image analysis solution based on AI.
