The 2026 Innovator Summit: Bridging Innovators – Shaping the Future
Every year, our three flagship programs reach the same milestone at roughly the same time — a new cohort is selected, onboarded, and ready to begin. To mark the occasion, we’re bringing all 121 companies together in San Francisco for the official Accelerator kickoff.
The 2026 Innovator Summit serves as the official launch for the MedTech Innovator (MTI US), BioTools Innovator (BTI), and MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific (MTI APAC) programs. It brings the 2026 cohorts together with sponsors, alumni, and select invitees from across MedTech Innovator’s global ecosystem for two days of networking, education, and engagement.
Hosted in San Francisco, CA on June 2–4, the conference marks the first in-person gathering for the newly selected cohorts, an opportunity to build connections, gain insights, and join a community shaping the global future of medtech and biotools innovation.
This year’s theme, Bridging Innovators, celebrates connection, bringing together founders, investors, industry leaders, and global ecosystems to accelerate the technologies transforming healthcare and life sciences.
The Summit is private by design. Attendance is limited to those building, mentoring, and backing this year’s class. Confirmed attendees will receive formal invitations and logistics directly.
Three programs converging
Each of the three programs meeting at the Summit has its own focus, geography, and approach. What they share is the kind of founder they back — early-stage founders working in areas where deep technical and clinical expertise matter. Here’s a brief look at each.
MTI US
- Flagship program for early- to mid-stage medtech, diagnostics and digital health companies targeting the US market
- Provides tailored mentorship, participation in industry-leading events, and competition in the MTI Finals
- Grand prize: up to $350,000 in funding
MTI APAC
- Regional program for companies headquartered or operating across the Asia Pacific region
- Focused on accelerating regional partnerships and market expansion
- Culminates in a Singapore finale with a grand prize of up to $300,000 USD
BTI
- Dedicated accelerator for life science tools and diagnostics companies
- Programming centered on commercialization strategy, partnerships, and scaling
- Culminates in the BTI Capstone event with a grand prize of $250,000

What to expect on the day
The Summit is structured to do two things well: introduce this year’s cohort to each other, and give every founder the context they need to hit the ground running. The agenda balances stage time with working sessions and small-group conversations.
Expect cohort introductions across all three programs, keynote sessions from program leads on this year’s priorities, hands-on working blocks covering the playbook and milestones, and an off-the-record evening reception.
