This year’s invite-only Innovator Summit was held on June 25-26 at The Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. The annual Summit is a lively and engaging event that exclusively allows the leadership teams from our latest cohort of startups to get to know each other in an immersive environment, exchange ideas with MedTech Innovator’s partners, alumni, and other industry leaders, and form lasting relationships. The MedTech Innovator, BioTools Innovator, MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific, and Singapore-US Market Access cohorts all come together at this inspiring in-person event.
The 2025 MedTech Innovator and BioTools Innovator cohorts got to know each other at our very first pre-summit Meet & Greet events. The MTI cohort gathered at SRI while BTI got together at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The cohort members met one another and enjoyed an evening of socializing and networking. Meanwhile the Singapore-US Market Access cohort participated in a full day of programming, including mentoring sessions with value coaches and topics covering startup expansion into US markets.
On the first official day of our 2025 Summit, cohort companies had the opportunity to attend breakout sessions with MTI partner-led and alumni-led small group discussions. The cohorts met MTI and BTI strategic partners for an inside look at what matters most to industry leaders, and participated in alumni-led circles with discussions spanning fundraising, regulatory, marketing, and more. They were able to share real-world insights, answer tough questions, and spark meaningful dialogue. The community learned from each other, challenged assumptions, and explored what’s next in healthcare innovation. At the conclusion of the day, participants enjoyed our annual scavenger hunt and learned about computer history while getting to know other members of the ecosystem.
The Summit was equal parts practical and inspirational. I gained mentorship, candid feedback, and access to an entire ecosystem that is pushing innovation in medtech. I left feeling both challenged and deeply supported.

Day 2 started with the Women’s Morning Mixer and an energizing walk with MedTech Innovator CEO Paul Grand. The day’s content-rich programming offered continued growth opportunities for participants. MedTech Innovator and MedTech Innovator APAC cohorts learned about the FDA TAP program from insiders, while the BioTools Innovator cohort attended a workshop on identifying and reaching scientific leads. The “Peak Expert Chats” panel featured MTI provider partner insights into various regulatory pathway, manufacturing, and market access themes. Afternoon sessions included more alumni-led circles, as well as other program specific panels, including a practical panel bringing together voices from across the funding landscape.
Day 3 of our Summit week was held at the MedTech World Bay Area Conference where 94 of our latest cohort companies including 64 MTI, 20 MTI Asia Pacific, and 10 Singapore-US Market Access companies were exclusively showcased and participated in partnering with industry leaders and investors.
The Cohort startups participate in our accelerator program through October where they receive unparalleled visibility and access to leading medtech manufacturers, providers, investors, payors, and other industry stakeholders. The MedTech Innovator program culminates with the Early-stage finals & Showcase at The MedTech Conference and the Mid-stage finals at MedTech Strategist.
