The following applies to MedTech Innovator and the MedTech Innovator platform.
Because we want you to understand the collection and uses of data that are necessary and possible on the MedTech Innovator platform, and to show our dedication to your privacy and security, we have established this privacy and security policy. We reserve the right to change this Statement and will provide notification of any material change at least thirty (30) days prior to the change taking effect. Collected Information
In the registration and application process, we collect: registration information from our users, including name, user name, and password; contact information such as email, address, occupation, and employer. Each of these different types of information is used to provide the MedTech Innovator platform. Registration information is used to authenticate users and to support the ability for users to submit updates to their information on the site. Registrations also make it possible for our users to submit applications to apply for the MedTech Innovator accelerator, competitions and pitch events. Application information is shared with reviewers who score and comment on the applications as part of the MedTech Innovator platform, programs, and competitions. Contact information is used to provide information and updates.
In the operation of the MedTech Innovator platform, we collect and store information such as searches performed on the MedTech Innovator platform. We analyze this information to determine ways in which users are using theMedTech Innovator platform and ways that we can improve theMedTech Innovator platform.
If at some point MedTech Innovator sells all or a portion of its assets, or merges with another entity, user information is an asset that may be transferred or acquired by a third party. We will notify all affected users of any such transaction and, consistent with our privacy promises, users will have the opportunity to retrieve their user information and cease usage of the MedTech Innovator platform. After such a transaction, the third party that becomes the custodian of the user information would have the right to continue using the user information solely as set forth in this policy.
MedTech Innovator may also collect and analyze from visitors and users certain information regarding the use of the MedTech Innovator platform. Information collected may include but is not limited to web site traffic volume, frequency of visits, type and time of transactions, type of browser and operating system, etc. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems, administer the site, and improve the quality and types of service delivered. We may provide non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information derived from the actions of our visitors and customers to third parties such as log analysis vendors in order to demonstrate the value we deliver to users. We must comply with laws applicable in rare circumstances requiring disclosure of data to law enforcement authorities or third parties.

MedTech Innovator may use cookies to assist in delivering the service and to provide a positive and personalized user experience. Cookies are files sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Our persistent and session ID cookies are used to facilitate logging in to the MedTech Innovator platform.

MedTech Innovator may contain links to multiple third party sites on the Internet, including many that have different privacy and security policies and practices than MedTech Innovator. MedTech Innovator makes no representations or warranties about the policies and practices of sites that are linked to by MedTech Innovator or its users. Security
MedTech Innovator has implemented processes designed to protect user information and maintain security. Each registered user is assigned a unique user name and password which is required to access their user information. It is the user’s responsibility to protect the security of their login information. MedTech Innovator’s servers are located in secure server environments. Firewalls and other advanced security technologies are employed to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data.
Accessing, Correcting and Revising Registration and Contact Information
If you need to update or change your registration information, you may do so by editing your Member Information profile.
If you choose to cancel your account and leave the MedTech Innovator platform, please be aware that MedTech Innovator may for a time retain residual information in our backup and/or archival copies of our database. We will make reasonable commercial efforts to delete your information as soon as possible after you communicate that intention to us.
Compliance with Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act
As a business service, MedTech Innovator does not target its offerings toward, and does not knowingly collect any personal information from users under 13 years of age.
