Novel ultrasound device gets FDA breakthrough designation with Children’s National support
A novel ultrasound device developed by Bloom Standard received the Food and Drug Administration’s valued breakthrough device designation with the help of Children’s National Hospital and support provided through an FDA-funded grant that established the Alliance for Pediatric Device Innovation (APDI), formerly branded as the National Capital Consortium for Pediatric Device Innovation (NCC-PDI).
