When promoting the ReConstruct technology, which improve the lives of patients undergoing breast reconstruction, our social media team found that the use of the world “breast” was being flagged as “inappropriate” by the algorithm of certain social media sites. Thus, these posts performed more poorly than similar posts. Without the ability to talk openly about Women’s Health, it will be virtually impossible to advance Women’s Health.
