From Big Tech to Biomarkers: Reflections of an Accidental Health Tech Entrepreneur
As 2024 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible path I’ve traveled since founding Blumio eight years ago. Leaving big tech to start a wearable blood pressure company was a leap into the unknown—a decision driven by a belief in the power of technology to transform health outcomes. Since then, my journey has evolved in ways I couldn’t have imagined. When Blumio was acquired by Cardiex two years ago, I transitioned into a public company at the commercial stage—a pivotal shift from building early-stage technology to delivering real-world solutions at scale. This phase has been transformative in more ways than one, not least because it brought me back to my roots in solution selling.
