PixelEXX is an imaging technology company developing ultra-small cameras for medical endoscopy applications. Minimally invasive procedures are increasingly replacing more costly open surgery, driving a demand for smaller, smarter visualization tools. Today the procedures are often limited by the size of the endoscope camera. PixelEXX is developing ultra-small, 80k pixel cameras, the size of a grain of sand (0.5 millimeter). Using endoscopes equipped with PixelEXX cameras, doctors will be able to reach hard-to-reach organs and regions of the body, allowing otherwise hidden areas of disease or injury to be revealed.
