OncoRes Medical has been awarded a Category III CPT code by the American Medical Association, with the code scheduled to become active in January 2027. The code is an important milestone in OncoRes’ US reimbursement strategy for its flagship product, ELORA®, and reflects early progress toward establishing a pathway for broader clinical adoption. Because the code was secured ahead of the start of the company’s pivotal trial, use of ELORA® during the trial, as well as early commercialisation activity, can be captured in Medicare usage data — data that will support OncoRes’ future pathway toward Category I CPT code approval and permanent reimbursement coverage.
