Neurofenix’s technology has been acquired by Bioness Medical, Inc., a leading neuro-rehabilitation company, where it will continue helping more people recover after neurological injury. Founded in 2016 by Guillem Singla, who served as CEO throughout, and Dimitris Athanasiou, Neurofenix set out to improve the lives of people recovering from stroke. Along the way it raised and invested $12M to build and launch its neuro-rehabilitation platform, completed four clinical trials, achieved Medicare coverage for its virtual therapy programs, worked with more than 40 healthcare partners and supported more than 1,000 neurological patients.
