LEADOPTIK has performed its first cases at Stanford Medicine, marking the start of RISE, a clinical study of the LIA™ platform in peripheral lung biopsy. RISE will evaluate how LIA's real-time optical signals compare with CBCT confirmation of needle position, and how accurately LIA can localize a lesion in real time, with microstructural resolution that ultrasound and X-ray based imaging do not provide.
