InkSpace Imaging has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its newest ultra-lightweight, highly flexible, high-density MRI receive coil for Philips 1.5T MRI systems. The clearance extends the company’s flexible coil technology, which Philips introduced for its 3.0T MRI systems earlier this year, to Philips 1.5T systems for both pediatric and adult patients. The coil conforms closely to the body, positioning the receive elements closer to the patient to support higher-signal, high-resolution imaging and faster scanning, while improving patient comfort and making positioning easier for MRI technologists.
