The IntuiTap device is a hand-held imaging device that helps clinicians more accurately and efficiently place spinal needles for procedures including epidurals, therapeutic injections and diagnostic spinal taps. Studies show only 30 to 60% of these procedures are done successfully on the first insertion; in IntuiTap’s own studies, the single-insertion success rate is above 90%.
