Lindberg Basic Scientist Paper Award from the American Burn Association (ABA) for their research evaluating GelSana’s CleraFlex™ technology in a clinically relevant burn wound infection model.
The Robert B. Lindberg Basic Scientist Paper Award is one of the ABA’s most prestigious scientific honors, recognizing outstanding research that advances the understanding and treatment of burn injuries.
The research recognized by the ABA evaluated CleraFlex in infected burn wounds using a porcine model designed to simulate prolonged field care conditions. The study demonstrated that CleraFlex significantly reduced Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterial burden while also decreasing markers of inflammation.
