Dr Jose Cid Fernandez and the team at Fiona Stanley Hospital have successfully treated the first patient in OncoRes Medical’s MARGIN clinical trial, marking the first interventional use of the company’s imaging technology during breast-conserving surgery. The MARGIN study will recruit more than 110 patients across six hospitals in Western Australia and Victoria, representing a major collaborative effort with surgeons, theatre teams and research staff across two states.
