Osso VR, a startup looking to disrupt the surgical device training space with virtual reality, has raised $2 million in seed funding in a round led by Signalfire, with participation from Anorak Ventures. A Houston-based medical device company took the top prize Thursday at the third annual Texas A&M New Ventures Competition. The all-day event concluded in the Robert Gates Ballroom of the Memorial Student Center, where Intuitap Medical Inc. was named the 2017 winner — taking home the grand prize of $50,000. The competition featured 16 startups from across Texas competing for a combined total of $250,000 in prizes.
