BioTools Innovator is the world’s largest life science accelerator in the world, committed to improving human health by supporting startups and scale-ups that are transforming the biotech and life science tools industries. We are seeking a Program Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our accelerator and competition programs, including administrative tasks, event planning, stakeholder coordination, marketing support and communications. This role works closely with the Associate Director to execute regional pitch events, conference showcases, virtual programming, and special projects within the organization.
This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to streamline processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven self-starter with a passion for biotech and healthcare innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the BioTools Innovator accelerator, ensuring programs and events run smoothly and on schedule.
- Support planning and execution of virtual and in-person events, including showcases, competitions, workshops, and networking sessions.
- Coordinate program logistics such as scheduling, database management, website updates, and vendor communication.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for participants, partners, and stakeholders, helping foster a strong and engaged community.
- Assist with outreach, recruitment, and promotion through email campaigns, social media, and development of marketing materials.
- Prepare and maintain program resources, including presentations, reports, surveys, and participant materials.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director on strategic initiatives and special projects as needed.
- Collaborate with Associate Director in other capacities as needed to support BTI
This position has up to 25% travel.
Education/Experience
- Life science relevant degree from an accredited university in ; BA/BS required, MA/MS preferred
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience such as managing an educational program or membership organization with multiple stakeholders - Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and comfort with public speaking
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to adapt to rapidly changing needs and priorities
- Proficiency using Gsuite, online software and technically savvy to quickly pick up new software/applications and develop best practices and processes
- Graphic design experience a plus

The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 – $90,000. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicants experience, skills and abilities as well as market data.
